Top 10 Book Boyfriends in 2011

I've decided to join the Top 10 of 2011 awesomeness hosted by Confessions of a Bookaholic, A Life Bound By Books, Fiktshun and Two Chicks on Books! Every day this week, we'll be sharing our top 10 for various different topics. Oh my word... it's so hard to pick just 10!

Today's topic...

Yet again, this was a really difficult topic to narrow down. I've decided to just include guys from books I read for the first time this year, instead of my re-reads... sorry Peeta! I'm going to give a small little warning though... I have a serious weakness for the sweet, nice, boy-next-door kind of guy... like a seriously serious weakness for them. You've been warned. So here are 10 of the fictional guys I fell for this year, in a semi-particular order (for once):

Sam Roth from Shiver, Linger and Forever by Maggie Stiefvater
Oh Sam Roth, I would marry you in a heartbeat! This guy plays the guitar, sings, writes music, loves poetry and reading, speaks German. He loves deeply, devotedly, and with his entire being. He's thoughtful and kind and self-sacrificing and... oh my word, I love him.

Cricket Bell from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
What can I say about the amazing, terrific, spectacular Cricket? Yeah, he makes me totally go weak at the knees. He's so perfect! He's absolutely brilliant (another weakness of mine), patient, kind, has a killer sense of style and is super tall. The boy next door? Yes please!

Percy Jackson from The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
I am SO glad I could find a way to get Percy on this list... yay for a new series! Percy is hilarious, nice, can kick some serious butt, is totally dedicated to his friends and his girl, and is freakin' good looking to boot. Not to mention he has some amazing abilities due to his dad being Poseidon... I pretty much love this boy, too.

Sean Kendrick from The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
Strong, intelligent, and mysterious, this amazingly talented horse master is definitely one of my new favorite book guys. There's something to say about those strong, silent types I guess... Talk about swoon! Maggie certainly knows how to write her leading men.

Four from Divergent by Veronica Roth
Oh Four... you're so wonderful. Why is he so wonderful? He's strong, brilliant and totally sweet. He can seriously kick butt, but he can also be oh so tender. Wonderful? Heck yes he is.

Alex Sheathes from Delirium by Lauren Oliver
What is there to say about Alex? He's sweet and thoughtful and brave and and and... he's amazing. Alex would do anything for his girl... anything. Talk about swoonworthy!

Jem Carstairs from Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Who wouldn't love a sweet, violin playing gentleman? Nearly everything that came out of Jem's mouth had me swooning. He's just so respectful and brave and kind... I simply can't help myself!

Zachary Moore from Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready
This boy is dang sexy. He's smart and funny and super sweet. I've decided that if Aura decides she doesn't want him, I'd gladly snatch him up. Just sayin'... ahem. I've only read the first book, but I instantly fell for this amazing Scottish hottie. Go Team Kilt!

Ethan Wate from Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
This guy will go to the ends of the earth to fight for the girl he loves. I love everything about him. He's thoughtful and brave and loves with everything in him. I've only read the first book in this series too, so don't tell me if he changes! But yeah... I wish I had known a guy like him in high school!

Noah Shaw from The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
I would consider him to be the one "bad boy" on my list. I really, really didn't want to like him... honestly I didn't. I just couldn't help it though! Noah is one of those people you just can't help but like. So beware... you probably won't be able to resist his charms, either.

Oh my gosh... I just realized most of my guys are brunettes. I guess we can call that another weakness, everybody! Haha! Ahem... So did you meet any new fictional boyfriends this year?
