Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature hosted by the fabulous Ginger at GReads. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share new and favorite songs with anyone willing to listen. Or not so willing. I'm not picky. Anyway... Each week you can post a song and share the love of music. For my last Concert Edition, I wanted to share the two concerts I would give ANYTHING to see... and bonus, the groups are still together! I've been in love with these groups since... oh man, it feels like ages! What groups am I talking about? Only two of the best in the entire world... Coldplay & Muse!! One day... one day I will get to see them in concert.
This month is going to be seriously epic. Why, might you ask? Because it's Concert Edition at Tune in Tuesday, of course! All month long we'll be featuring bands or musicians we've seen or want to see. So link up and join the fun!
ColdplayColdplay and I go way back. I remember carpooling to the airport during Thanksgiving vacation with a friend. We caught a ride with someone from our university we'd never met before (yay for ride boards!)... we had such a great time on our 2 hour drive to Vegas! She was playing this album that I just couldn't get enough of... so, being the complete music addict I am, I asked about it. Needless to say, I loved it so much that I bought the cd almost immediately after the plane landed. The artist: Coldplay. The album: Parachutes. I have since eagerly awaited every single album release and have yet to be disappointed. Now for a couple of my favorite Coldplay tunes, Everything's Not Lost and Strawberry Swing!
MuseMuse and I also go way back. I think I wrote during a 90's edition of Tune in Tuesday that I happened upon Muse whilst scavenging for new music... and it's been love ever since. Like Coldplay, Muse just can't do any wrong by me. I love (and own) all of their albums and they'll forever be in my top 10 favorites. I do have to say that I'm pretty sure Starlight is my favorite song... but I still adore all of them like nobody's business. And honestly, can you go wrong with Time Is Running Out? It's so classic! So here they are, two of my favorite Muse songs. Enjoy!
