Tune in Tuesday (112): Halloween... ish

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature created by Ginger at GReads, but is now hosted by the ever-fabulous Katelyn of Kate's Tales of Books and Bands. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share the music I enjoy. Each week we'll be posting some of our favorites to spread the love of music. So link up and join the fun!

I couldn't decide what I wanted to share this week. Well, rather I couldn't decide which song I wanted to share over the others. If that makes any sense. There were four songs I was going back and forth with, so I decided I would just share them all.  They all kind of remind me of Halloween, anyway... in a way... a little... sort of. Oh heck, just check 'em out.

I'm going to make this short and sweet. I've had this song stuck in my head a lot lately, so I thought it best to share it this week. I'm sure everybody has already heard this song, but it's so awesome that you can never listen to it too much. Happy listening, all!

Tune in Tuesday (110): City and Colour

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature created by Ginger at GReads, but is now hosted by the ever-fabulous Katelyn of Kate's Tales of Books and Bands. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share the music I enjoy. Each week we'll be posting some of our favorites to spread the love of music. So remember how I mentioned last week that I was able to see Frightened Rabbit the previous week? Well, this week is dedicated to someone I saw last Friday! I was so incredibly excited to see City and Colour live, you have no idea. Not only did I get to see him, but I also got to see The Paper Kites open the show! Oh my gosh, I really did almost die from sheer joy.

Talk about being ridiculously talented, oh my word! Dallas is SO FREAKING AMAZING live, you guys! He's so funny and he really knows how to interact with the crowd. I was so entranced by his awesomeness, I took like one picture... and it was blurry, of course. I dragged my sister with me again, so if she ever sends me her pictures, I'll share them with you. But seriously, if you have the opportunity to see City and Colour live, DO IT! You definitely won't regret it.

Last week I shared some tracks from Frightened Rabbit's newest album, so I think I'll do the same for City and Colour. If you haven't heard it yet, The Hurry and the Harm is a stellar album. So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from the new album. Happy listening, everyone!

Hello everyone! I hope all you music lovers out there are having a great week so far. For this week, I thought I'd share a group I was able to see live last Friday. Who might that be? Oh, only... Frightened Rabbit! What?! Yeah, I totally got to see them in concert and it was amazing! My sister went with me and we had a blast. She might not have known any of their songs, but that didn't keep us from enjoying it. Frightened Rabbit is seriously amazing live... they sound exactly like they do on their albums! Maybe even a little better! The opening act was a band from New York called Augustines (they're album comes out in January, I believe). They were really good, too... check them out if you haven't already!

The clearest photo... I seriously need to get used to my new phone...

Anyway, since I've already shared my favorite song, The Loneliness and the Scream, I thought I'd share some tracks from their newest album! Happy listening, everyone!

I felt it high time I shared a couple of my favorite tunes from Now, Now. Dead Oaks is my favorite song of theirs, followed closely by Oh. Hi.... though all of the songs on this particular album are pretty dang awesome. Anyway, less gabbing more listening! Hope ya'll enjoy this sampling of Now, Now! Happy listening!
