Tune in Tuesday (87) - Road Trip Edition!

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature originally hosted by the fabulous Ginger at GReads. However, for the time being, Katelyn of Kate's Tales of Books and Bands will be hosting. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share the music I enjoy. Each week we'll be posting some of our favorites to spread the love of music. So link up and join the fun!

The time has come. It's the last week of Road Trip Edition. It's been so much fun sharing all these tunes with you guys and hearing your picks, too! So far I've shared one of my most recent road trip mixes, an old mix, some random road trip favorites and a few CD's I could listen to repeatedly whilst traveling. What in the world could I share next? Oh, how about a group I fell in love with because of a road trip?! Which band might that be? Well...

Coldplay!

That's right, folks. I fell in love with Coldplay during a road trip. I posted a little about the story here during the Concert Edition, but I couldn't resist sharing it again. As a recap, on the way to the Las Vegas airport, my ride listened to Coldplay. Initially it was the album Parachutes that I fell for, but that wasn't the only album she played. The other album on repeat was A Rush of Blood to the Head. I may have initially fallen in love with the first one, but I think this is my absolute favorite Coldplay album. Every single track is pure awesomeness. Every. Single. Song! Since that trip, I have devoured every album to come out. I seriously hope I can one day see them live. Until that time, here are just a few of my favorite tracks from my favorite album. Happy listening!

In My Place

Amsterdam

The Scientist

And of course, you absolutely can't go wrong with...

Clocks

Be sure to grab the album, if you haven't already!

    1. Right?! I agree, too! Now if only I could get my family to like Coldplay... I know they'll come around eventually. I mean, it's COLDPLAY! That simply HAVE to! :)
