Tune in Tuesday (50) - My Teen Years!

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature hosted by the fabulous Ginger at GReads. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share the music I enjoy. Each week we'll be posting some of our favorites to spread the love of music. So link up and join the fun!

Now this... is weird. Not only is it my 50th Tune in Tuesday post, but it's also my 100th blog post... WHOA! Am I the only one that finds this fascinating? Anywhoozle... carrying on.

So! More teen tunes, yeah? We are approaching the end of my teenage years. This week I'll be talking about ages 17 (the year I graduated... yikes!) and 18. I don't know what it is, but the music during my 18th year was insanely amazing... this is going to be immensely tough. Le sigh.

The Animal Song by Savage Garden

I love this song! I remember loving the first album a lot (Santa Monica being one of my favs), but this one... this one was so much more. Great song. Great album. Love it!

Classic, right? Yeah, I think so too.

Breathless by The Corrs

Oh yes, I was a fan. This album was played so often, I probably drove people crazy. I love this song... but oddly enough, I think the instrumental piece, Rebel Heart, is my favorite. Goose-freakin-bumps!

Dare You To Move by Switchfoot

Holy flip, this song still gives me goosebumps! In my humble opinion, The Beautiful Letdown is the best Switchfoot album. Ever. It was intense trying to pick just one track, I'm not even kidding.

Crazy For This Girl by Evan and Jaron

Holy freakin' swoon! I was seriously in love with them. Cute twin brothers who SING? Heck yes! Okay, guess I still love them. Hee hee.

So like I said, it was really hard to narrow down the songs for this week. Since it is the 50th post, I thought I'd say to heck with it and do a 6th song. I'm such a rebel. Hah! So... what should I share? Should I do Lifehouse? What about Train? Or a little Enya? Then there's Dashboard Confessional, right? See how hard this week is?! Hmm... Oh, I know! We'll go a little random and share...

Make Me Shine by Echo and the Bunnymen

  2. How did I forget about Breathless by the Corrs?! I remember buying their whole CD because I was so in love with that song. I never listened to the rest, just that one song over and over. Thankfully we have itunes now and can just buy the one song we want instead of the whole album, LoL.

  3. I LOVED Breathless by the Corrs. It reminds me of my summers spent in London with my parents b/c this song was a big hit then. Eve's Here's to the Night is basically every high school class's song, haha.
