Tune in Tuesday (28)


Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature hosted by the fabulous Ginger at GReads. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share new and favorite songs with anyone willing to listen. Or not so willing. I'm not picky. Anyway... Each week you can post a song and share the love of music. So link up and join the fun!

I'm very much in a Bishop Allen mood lately. I love them so much that I had a serious problem featuring them this week: I couldn't decide which song to feature. In a perfect world, I would just share every single one of their songs in this one post. Sadly, it is not a perfect world. I was finally able to narrow it down to three, but I didn't know which was "the one" for this week. Then I decided there doesn't need to be just one... so I'm sharing all three of my narrowed-down picks. You can never have too much Bishop Allen, right? Right! Happy listening, everyone!



Very very very possibly my favorite... possibly. Frankly, any song having to deal with rain is a winner in my book. Positively amazing!



Remember that "very very very" comment above? Well... that comment applies to this song too. I'm sooo decisionally challenged, but this song is fantastic!



This one is just so different, I couldn't resist sharing it too. Isn't it adorable?! It also doesn't hurt that it's on my favorite Bishop Allen album (The Broken String). I swear I've worn this album out, I've played it so much!

    I think my favourite is The Broken String. I like it when an artist does something different from the norm and perhaps unexpected.

    Thanks so much for playing these. I've not been 100% today and Rain AND Butterfly Nets were the perfect songs to listen to while sipping my mug of lemsip haha! I'll definitely have to check out more of Bishop Allen. :)

    I am pretty sure I have never heard of Bishop Allen before which saddens me! They have such a fun, cheery sound; I love listening to them :)
