February Reading Challenge Wrap-Up

It's about that time again! What time, might you be asking? It's time to share a bit on how my reading challenges are going, of course!

A lot has been going on this month, let me tell you. First of all, I was kind of in a reading funk, but that is now over, thank goodness! Also, I got a new job working at one of my favorite bookstores! Yay! I officially start on Friday (the 2nd) and I am nervous, but super excited. AND, this last weekend I was able to go to the Breathless Reads tour in California with my sister. I had an absolute BLAST listening to and meeting with Beth Revis, Andrea Cremer, Marie Lu and Jessica Spotswood. If you haven't met these wonderful ladies yet (or read their books), I highly suggest doing so. Like now.

Being so busy and preoccupied with a million different things, reading was a bit of a challenge for me. However... though I may have been in a reading funk, I did get some books read. Here's what I've been reading:

Love love LOVE this song. It's kind of an older song, but still fantastic. I really don't have adequate words to explain how amazing it is (nor why I love it so much), so I'll just let the song speak for itself. Happy listening!

I'm very much in a Bishop Allen mood lately. I love them so much that I had a serious problem featuring them this week: I couldn't decide which song to feature. In a perfect world, I would just share every single one of their songs in this one post. Sadly, it is not a perfect world. I was finally able to narrow it down to three, but I didn't know which was "the one" for this week. Then I decided there doesn't need to be just one... so I'm sharing all three of my narrowed-down picks. You can never have too much Bishop Allen, right? Right! Happy listening, everyone!

Yet another one first heard on my favorite (out of range, but still stream-able) radio station EVER! I really really really like this song. I believe it's the first single off their sophomore album, Collections, and it's just really... bouncy. Who doesn't love a bouncy song, right?! I also recommend checking out the whole album. They rock. I love their sound and I really enjoy this video... a lot. Happy listening!

I think I've listened to this song at least five times in the last couple days. Actually, I've probably listened to it more because I had her albums on repeat whilst working on a project. Gah! It's so good!
