*GIVEAWAY IS OVER*
Greetings, wonderful people! One year ago to the day (and time, if you're interested... I'm kooky like that), I posted my first post here on Kaleidoscopic Reveries. It wasn't much at all, but it entertained me. I didn't have any real plans about what KR was going to be, other than a way to keep me entertained while I looked for a job. Here I am a year later and my baby blog is... well, it's still kind of a baby blog, but that's okay with me. I'm enjoying myself and I think that's all that really matters in the end. Right? Right! :)
So much has happened this last year. What, might you ask? Well... I moved twice, got a job working for a library again (Yay!), attended my first book signing/panel event, got my first review request, joined Twitter (and got addicted) & Tumblr (which I'm still getting used to), signed up for my first reading challenge, pumped myself up to start a reading challenge (psst... never too late to sign up!), won heaps of awesome books and other items from spectacular people, met some amazing bloggers and fellow bookworms, discovered a ridiculous amount of new music and books, read 45+ books (which is HUGE for me), rocked it with #TeamKilt, found a radio station I actually like (then moved out of its range... thank Bob for the internet!), finally found a red velvet cake recipe I like... and the list goes on and on for ages and a day. These might not seem like big things to anyone else, but they make me happy.
To celebrate my blog turning a year old, I've decided to hold a bit of a giveaway. I'm going to list a bunch of my all-time favorite books from all sorts of genres and age levels. My hope is that there will be something for everyone. The winner chosen will be able to pick any book from that list. AND because Kaleidoscopic Reveries was able to get to that 500+ followers mark (WOO WOO!), I'm going to pick TWO winners. That's right... two people will be able to take home a super sweet book! Exciting, yeah?!
So which books can you choose from? Just take a gander at this spread (click on the cover images for more information):
Rules for the giveaway are going to be super simple... because I like it that way. You get a freebie entry and everything after that garners you an extra entry into the giveaway. Bonus, it's an INTERNATIONAL giveaway (as long as the Book Depository ships to ya)! YAY! Cheers! Shouts of joy! Fun. I'm going to leave the giveaway open until February 8th at midnight (I think Rafflecopter does EST). At that time, I'll send an email to the two winners and they'll have 48 hours to respond or I'll select someone else. So go ahead and enter in the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!
