Tune in Tuesday (62): Search/Rescue

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature originally hosted by the fabulous Ginger at GReads. However, for the time being, Katelyn of Kate's Tales of Books and Bands will be hosting. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share the music I enjoy. Each week we'll be posting some of our favorites to spread the love of music. So link up and join the fun!

This is a band I had the privilege to see during their first live performance. So a million years ago, my friends and I drove to Seattle for a concert to see Amber Pacific (performing for the last time with Matt! sniff sniff) and their third opening act, Mêlée. Little did we know we'd become fans of another group during the show. The guys were not only talented, but super nice as well. Oh how I love when bands feature local/new groups during their shows! I switched old CD mixes in my car again... then I was reminded how much I love them! Anywhoozle... I'm rambling. I hope you guys love them too. Happy listening!

Waking by Search/Rescue

By the way... when I was typing this all up and talking about how they opened for Amber Pacific, an Amber Pacific song started playing on my iTunes. Weird, right?! I love when that happens sometimes.

  1. I really like these guys! Of course I am a fan of Amber Pacific so any band affiliated with them, I'll give a listen to! And yes, I completely agree with you on the part about bands allowing local/new bands to open for them. That's how I've found some of my very favorite bands!

  2. Me too! Quite a few favorite bands came out of the same situations. I love it when that happens! I'm glad you like Search/Rescue! :)

  3. I like them!

I love when the opening bands are good. Especially when their starting out. It's like this great discovery!
