Armchair BEA: Best of 2012!

Day two of Armchair BEA is all about our favorite 2012 reads. To be completely honest, I haven't read a whole heck of a lot this year. I think my Goodreads challenge says I'm 8 or 9 books behind my goal right now. Yikes! With that said, I have read some amazing books this year! Here are just a few of my favorites:

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
This wasn't released in 2012, but I read it this year so I don't care. If you're looking for something light and fun, I highly HIGHLY recommend reading this. I have yet to hear of someone disliking Anna, so it's become my go-to book for recommendations. It's just so funny! Don't forget to check out the amazing companion novel, Lola and the Boy Next Door. And for those who have read it... St Clair!!!!

A Million Suns by Beth Revis
Non. Stop. Action! I mean it! This book starts with a kick and keeps on coming. I enjoyed this one so much, I couldn't decide whether I liked it more than the first one (Across the Universe) or not. I can't wait to see where Beth takes us in Shades of Earth. January can't come soon enough!

Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready
What a fantastic conclusion to the Shade series. Jeri really knows how to put your emotions through the ringer! I wasn't quite ready for the series to be over, so I tried to take my time reading this one... it didn't quite work. I flew through it! Though I still haven't posted reviews for the other two books I've mentioned in this post, I did get one up for this one! You can check it out here, if you'd like.

I thought I'd also share at least one BEA book that I'm extremely excited for. Behold the amazing, fantastic, beautifully covered awesomeness that is...
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater!
I am a freakin' HUGE fan of anything Maggie does, so it's no surprise that I'm positively chomping at the bit to get my hands on this one. If I had the chance to go to BEA just to see Maggie and get this book, my life would have been complete. Okay, I may be exaggerating... or not. Keep your eyes out for this one, folks. It's bound to be amazing!
