Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature created by Ginger at GReads, but is now hosted by the ever-fabulous Katelyn of Kate's Tales of Books and Bands. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share the music I enjoy. Each week we'll be posting some of our favorites to spread the love of music. So link up and join the fun!
So remember how I mentioned last week that I was able to see
Frightened Rabbit the previous week? Well,
this week is dedicated to someone I saw
last Friday! I was so incredibly excited to see City and Colour live, you have no idea. Not only did I get to see him, but I also got to see
The Paper Kites open the show! Oh my gosh, I really did almost die from sheer joy.
Talk about being ridiculously talented, oh my word! Dallas is SO FREAKING AMAZING live, you guys! He's so funny and he really knows how to interact with the crowd. I was so entranced by his awesomeness, I took like one picture... and it was blurry, of course. I dragged my sister with me again, so if she ever sends me her pictures, I'll share them with you. But seriously, if you have the opportunity to see City and Colour live, DO IT! You definitely won't regret it.
Last week I shared some tracks from Frightened Rabbit's newest album, so I think I'll do the same for City and Colour. If you haven't heard it yet,
The Hurry and the Harm is a stellar album. So without further ado, here are some of my favorites from the new album. Happy listening, everyone!
