Kate Winters has won immortality. But if she wants a life with Henry in the Underworld, she'll have to fight for it.
Becoming immortal wasn't supposed to be the easy part. Though Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld, she's as isolated as ever. And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he's becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate's coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans.
As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person whom she would really rather not meet.
Henry's first wife, Persephone. (Goodreads)

Tune in Tuesday (37)
Tune in Tuesday is a weekly music feature hosted by the fabulous Ginger at GReads. As some of you may know, I am ridiculously addicted to music. One of my favorite things to do is share new and favorite songs with anyone willing to listen. Or not so willing. I'm not picky. Anyway... Each week you can post a song and share the love of music. So link up and join the fun!
Gotye's Making Mirrors album is nothing but diverse. I was finally able to give the whole album a listen and I really think I like it. I was extremely pleased when I got to track seven and a big grin spread over my face. There's just something about this song that makes you want to smile, ya know? I LOVE when that happens! Needless to say, I had to repeat the track a couple times.
Happy listening!

Yet another fabulous find on ThePeak.fm. Man, I love this station! Anyway... after the first album listen, Givers has crawled inside my heart and made a nice little nest. It's quite cozy and doesn't seem to be ready to leave any time soon... which I don't mind in the least. So yeah. As with the previous tracks shared this month, this is a one-play-is-not-enough kind of song. Gah! I love this song!
Happy listening!

Just like the song I shared last week, I've been itching to share this one. This is yet another song that begs to be played again. Of Monsters and Men is a seriously kick-butt Icelandic group of awesomeness. They just are. I love blasting this song and singing along... whilst bopping around like a complete nutter, naturally. If you enjoy this song, be sure to download the rest of their EP, Into the Woods. It's amazing!
Edit: Just wanted to let ya'll know that their full-length album, My Head Is An Animal, was released on April 3rd. Since I created this post early, I didn't share that info yet. Better late than never, yeah? So go forth and buy the album (if you like... no pressure, I promise)! It's awesome.
Happy listening!

This song. THIS SONG! Oh my word! This song is like potato chips, I'm not satisfied with just one... listen. I put it on a road trip mix when my sister and I went to the Breathless Reads tour in California last month. That CD has since become one of my favorites to listen to on my commute to and from work. As for this particular track, I listen to it least two times in a row if not more. There's just something awesome about opening the sunroof in the car, blasting the song and singing along like a loon. Yeah, I'm cool like that. Anyway, I hope ya'll love my favorite song of the moment as much as I do!
Happy listening!
