It's here! It's finally here!!! I've been wanting to do a cover edition of Tune in Tuesday since I first joined back in the day! I have an entire playlist on my iTunes dedicated completely to covers. I love when a group/artist can put a new spin on a song and make you fall in love with it all over again. Sometimes the cover will even be for a song I didn't like before, but then found a new love for. I really like when it's difficult to choose which I like best: the cover or the original. Well, all month long I'll be sharing some of my favorite cover songs! I'm so excited you guys, you have no idea. Okay, without further ado, here are a few of my favorite cover songs!

So I was wanting to share a song from Bastille that's been stuck in my head all weekend... but then I realized I've already shared it! Ahem. So in its place, here's a group I've been loving the past couple weeks. The first song is my current favorite from Pete and the Pirates, though Half Moon Street (including this awesome acoustic version) and Little Gun (Stolen) are both creeping their way up to the top. Oh music, how I lobe thee!

I'm going to go with a song that has been stuck in my head. I heard this after making a Pandora station for The Zolas (who I shared a few weeks ago). I fell head over heels in love with the sound of The Dig and this song simply won't leave my head. Thankfully, I don't mind in the least that it wants to linger. So, without further ado, here's the song I've been singing non-stop for the past week.

After last week's post, it's back to our regularly scheduled programming! I thought I'd share one of my current favorite songs. I love it when I put my iTunes on shuffle and rediscover my love for an old(ish) favorite. That's what happened with the first song, and since I can't seem to get enough of it, I thought it would be fun to share with you lovely people! And because one song by Bad Books simply isn't enough, I shared two. Though the second is a totally different speed, it's still an amazing song with amazing lyrics.

I have officially reached 100 Tune in Tuesday posts! I had another regular-ish post planned, but when I realized it was indeed the 100th post, I thought it might be fun to do something a little different. I am so glad to have been part of this awesome music feature for this long! For this special post, I thought it might be fun to go back through some of my favorite posts. Some of them are favorites for the most random of reasons, some because I simply can't get enough of the song(s) or because the videos were awesome or because I was so excited to share them with you guys I couldn't wait or because the comments made me giggle!
